The Special Adviser to the Governor on Project Monitoring Okigwe Zone Engr. Francis Chukwu has described the Governor Senator Hope Uzodinma as a leader that is focused to bequeathing standard and legacy projects on the State.
Engr. Chukwu disclosed this while addressing critical stakeholders at Ehime Mbano council Headquarters Umuezeala ahead of the on the spot assessment of state government projects in the area.
He noted that his visit to Ehime Mbano was to carry out a fact finding tour of state government projects in the area to have first hand knowledge of their various stages of completion as well as to identify priority projects, adding that the report and recommendations on the projects will be forwarded to the Governor for onward action.
The S.A. to the Governor on Project Monitoring Okigwe Zone revealed that the on the spot assessment of state government projects in Ehime Mbano was the conclusion of the fact finding tour of state government projects across all the LGAs in Okigwe Zone since he assumed office.
Reacting, the IMC Chairman of Ehime Mbano Barr. Chidi Okechukwu commended Engr. Francis Chukwu for the visit and assured him of the readiness of the Council to cooperate with him in his commitment and efforts to bring development to the area.
Lending his voice, the Chairman of Ehime Mbano Council of Traditional Rulers Eze Emmanuel Ibechi congratulated Engr Chukwu on his appointment as Special Adviser to the Governor on Project Monitoring Okigwe Zone, urging him to use the opportunity to tackle the infrastructural inadequacies in the area.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Project Monitoring Okigwe Zone Engr. Francis Chukwu conducted the on the spot assessment of the uncompleted new Ehime Mbano LGA Secretariat, the proposed new Ehime Mbano Staduim Complex which is at DPC level on some parts with minimal block works and the ongoing reconstruction of Aba-Branch-Ahiara Junction road where he found that 978.5m asphalt has been done so far from the Ahiara Junction section of the road by CODUC Construction Company.
