The people of Agwa in Oguta Local Government Area and their counterparts in Ogbaku in Mbaitoli Local Government Area are enjoined to embrace peace and shun any act of restiveness in their areas to allow final mediation and resolution of their matter.
This was part of the resolution taken during a peace meeting held by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Peace and Conflict Resolution, Engr. Peter Ohagwa and six traditional rulers from the areas.
The warring Communities were also banned from going into the land in dispute pending final resolution of the matter.
It was also resolved that hoodlums who disguised as officials of National Union of Road Transport Workers, NURTW, to attack Agwa bound passengers at Ogbaku Motor park should desist from such act or be sanctioned and their activities at the park banned.
The Traditional rulers from the areas were told that they would be held responsible for further crisis.
The Communities were told to remain peaceful and come for final mediation and reconciliation on their matter at a date already fixed for it.
