The Deputy Governor, Prince Eze Madumere has challenged Christians to glorify God in all circumstances.
Prince Madumere gave the challenge while speaking at the end of the church service that marked the celebration of Christmas and one year anniversary of the Chapel of Praise Lake Malinda, Achi Mbieri.
The Deputy Governor called for a new life and understanding stressing that as Christians, Christmas should serve as a sober reflection and a show of love to one another in order to appreciate Christ love for mankind.
While thanking the Priest in-charge of the Chapel and all those who have shown commitment to the success of the Chapel, the Deputy Governor urged Christians to intensify their prayers for those occupying positions of authority reminding them that the challenges of life can only be surmounted by the special grace of God.
Speaking, Venerable Iherue thanked the Deputy Governor for his commitment to the service of God and humanity through the establishment of the Chapel which activities have touched so many lives.
In their separate remarks, the T C Chairman of Mbaitoli LGA, Chief steven and a Youth Leader in the area, Mr. Marshal Madumere described Christmas as a period of sober reflection and appreciation to individuals and groups as Christians.
They called on the people to continue to tolerate one another no matter the height of provocation bearing in mind that Jesus Christ was born to save mankind.
